Keep 100% — don't give a solicitor 25%

Most tenancy deposit claim firms work no-win-no-fee and keep around a quarter of your compensation. We charge a flat fee and take none of it. On a £2,100 deposit paid at 3× (£6,300), a 25% success fee is about £1,575. With us you'd pay a flat £260 for the claim pack (plus the court fee) and keep the rest.

Awards vary, and doing it yourself means you file the claim and carry the court fee and costs risk — see the honest comparison.

About our fee structure

All fees are fixed and payable for the services provided — they are not contingent on the outcome of your claim. We take no percentage of any award: every penny the court orders goes directly to you. Claim pack preparation begins only where our assessment identifies an arguable potential breach. A fixed HMCTS court fee applies when you file this type of claim (several hundred pounds — we tell you the current exact figure before you decide), paid by you directly to the court and not included in our fee. Because these claims are not automatically small-claims-track cases, there can be a risk of paying some of the landlord's costs if the claim fails — your claim pack explains this before you file anything.

My Deposit Claim is an unregulated legal-services provider offering document preparation and assessment. We are not a firm of solicitors, are not regulated by the SRA, and are not an FCA-authorised claims management company. We do not conduct litigation, file court documents, or appear in court on your behalf — you send the letter and file the claim yourself, with our step-by-step guidance, and you remain in control throughout. Our service covers England only.
